The IT Division arm of the Ministry is the key department responsible for the Information Technology infrastructure of the Minstry.

The main responsibilities of the division are:

1. Manage the hardware and software systems for accounts, taxation, customs, statistics and other services
2. Provide technical guidance and support to Ministry staff on IT related matters
3. Maintain information security and availability
4. Provide software development assistance
